At the end of September 2017, during a reception for the members of the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization, Professor Achim Buckenmaier, the director of the Chair, drew the attention of Pope Francis to the distance study program. In his speech to all the members of the Pontifical Council Pope Francis had spoken about the People of God. In the adjacent photo you can see between Pope Francis and prof. Buckenmaier also Archbishop Rino Fisichella, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization.
